Clear water-diluted, mat varnish with superior transparency, adhesion, abrasion resistance and hardness. Lightfast, weather resistant and waterproof.

Minimum film formation temperature (MFFT): 8°C (47°F)

Applications

It is used as protective varnish for acrylic paintings, as painting medium for acrylic systems and as coating for wood, plywood and hardboard.

It also increases the hardness of Lascaux Artist and Studio artist's acryl colours.

Directions

Provides excellent protection against weathering, dirt and mechanical damage. For use as a final varnish on painted objects, mix 4 parts Lascaux Acrylic Transparent Varnish with 1 part water and apply evenly with a soft varnish brush. Leave to dry for 1-4 hours, then spray or brush on a second coat.
