Filmoplast R is a transparent, acid-free, technical Japanese paper, suitable for invisible repairs of torn out pages, documents, maps, etc.

It is made of very thin, lignin-free, hemicellulose-free, high alpha-cellulose content, acid free tissue, coated with a plasticizer-free, neutral, heat-activated adhesive with sealing temperature approx. 100°C.

Paper carrier and adhesive are buffered with magnesium carbonate.

It can be removed from paper surfaces with alcohol, acetone or heat.
